Nicolás is an Engineer in Plant Biotechnology, researcher by training in genomics related to the cold acclimatization process in forest species. He has a Diploma in Public Policy and Territory, and is currently a Master’s Student in Forestry Sciences at the Biotechnology Center of the University of Concepción in Chile, where he studies the connection between innovation systems, entrepreneurship ecosystems and circular bioeconomy linked to the agricultural and forestry sectors. Through the study of biotechnology companies, he seeks to know how public and private support can help the emergence and development of this type of companies.
