Research Focus

I centre deaf communities and sign language users at the heart of my work. I am a linguist and an interpreter by training and my work has focused on 3 key areas: 1) linguistics & applied linguistics of sign languages (SLs), (2) interpreting studies (IS), & (3) trans-disciplinary work that impacts on deaf studies topics.
