I’m a 34 years-old Argentinian Researcher at the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry and an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Portugal. In addition to my academic career, I’m an entrepreneur and scientific communicator, committed with the social impact of Biotechnology and Circular Economy, both in Argentina and the EU.
I graduated in Biotechnology at Universidad Nacional del Litoral (2013) and obtained my PhD in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (2018), both from Argentina. I am an author, reviewer and editor in international specialized scientific journals. My main background is in biotechnology for agri-food by-products valorisation. Additionally, my recent work led me to venture into nanotechnology with a focus on biomedical applications for the gastrointestinal tract, which captured my total interest.
My professional and emotional experiences allowed me to improve my reflective, resolutive, leadership, teamwork, and network skills. I consider myself a responsible person, pro-active, very dedicated, very creative and efficient. I am a person who does not seek perfection, but excellence. Constantly, I seek to identify my weaknesses and shortcomings, to be able to turn them into improvement opportunities.
