Research Focus

My research work emphasized achieving the SDGs  (2.2, 2.3, 3.8 & 15.1 ) at the regional level by harnessing the microbial system /crops microbiomes as Phyto-stimulation of crops, biodegradation of pesticide, & integrated pest management and with an aim at providing a sustainable solution or alternative for sound environmental sustainability these practices caused severe impairment to soil; water quality and aided the development of pesticide-resistant pests increasing the vulnerability of crops.

Projects

  • Development of efficient Microbial Consortia for Pesticide Degradation and Plant Growth Promotion of Agricultural Crops,
  • Studies on synergistically performing of entomopathogens fungi (EPF) and PGPM for biodegradation of organophosphate insecticide and management of thrips (Thrips tabaci) and purple blotch in onion (Allium cepa) under the agro-climatic conditions of Maharashtra, India.
