The aim of this research is to develop a greater understanding of inequality in a food manufacturing supply chain using qualitative research technique; ethnographic field study will be conducted to collect empirical data to analyze the trends and inter-relationship between the dimensions of inequality, identify the causes of inequality, create knowledge on social, environmental and economic impacts of inequality, assess the way the dimensions of inequality expose the vulnerability of people to different types of risk and identify ways that such risk can be mitigated and develop innovative interventions and solutions to addressing the identified causes of inequality in a food manufacturing supply chain.
