Research Focus

Currently, I am a research scholar, working in the area of sustainable agriculture and land management practices, crop diversification including the use of neglected and underutilized tree species (i.e. Phalsa, Zizyphus, Jackfruit etc) for the sustainable management of drylands for food and nutritional security. I am also interested in the sustainability analysis of the use of multipurpose tree species like Teak, Sissoo etc. as a broader crop for improving agricultural yield, soil carbon sequestration etc. and
exploring ecological solutions for sustainability and thereby achieving the UN-Sustainable Development Goals.
